Calgary Connection and Flood Relief

July 2nd, 2013

“Calgary Connection” runs at Red Art Gallery in Victoria, July 4 - 13. The show has been in the planning for a long time, and was meant as a happy celebration during Stampede week. It’s still a celebration, although events have made it take on a more serious note.

My part in it is a painting embodying the enthusiastic, free-spirited energy of the city. Titled “Homage to Skinny Fat Jack,” and yes, there is a tale that goes with it–visit the show for the full story! A third of the sale will be donated to the Red Cross Calgary flood relief effort. Contact Red Art Gallery for information.

“Homage to Skinny Fat Jack” 36″ x 48″, $1950.
